Admissions Process

Our Admissions team reviews applications on a rolling basis. There is no application deadline, and assessments may take place throughout the academic year as places become available.

Applications open each year for the following academic year. You may register your interest at any time and will be contacted when applications officially open.

If a place is not available for your child in a given academic year, you will be required to submit a new application for the following year with updated school reports and documents.

All applications must be submitted online.

Submit an enquiry through our website. You will receive an automated email with a link to the application form, or a member of our Admissions team will contact you directly.

Gather Documents

To enrol your child at Jabal Al Ma’rifa International School, you will need:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Child’s Passport
  • Parent/Guardian Passports
  • Child’s Oman Resident ID (if applicable)
  • Parent/Guardian Resident IDs (if applicable)
  • Vaccination Record
  • Most recent school report (if applicable)
  • Passport-size photograph

Additional documents may be requested depending on residency requirements.

Application

Complete the online application form and upload all required documents, including your child’s most recent school report.

An application fee of OMR 32 (Year 1 and above) is required. Applications will be processed once all documents and payment have been received.

Assessment (if applicable)

Entrance assessments are not always required but may be used to support placement decisions and ensure your child receives appropriate academic support.

Mathematics assessment

CAT4 assessment may be required for some applicants

Grade 7 to Grade 9 (Starting 2027) CAT4 assessment may be required for some applicants

Offer

Successful applicants will receive an offer letter via email within approximately 5 working days.

Securing Your Child’s Place

To confirm your child’s place, please submit within 10 working days:

  • Acceptance Form
  • Parent Contract Agreement
  • Registration Fee: OMR 53 (non-refundable)
  • Book Fee: OMR 265

Understanding School Fees

At Jabal Al Ma’rifa International School, we believe in transparency. Below is an overview of application, registration, and tuition fees.

Application Fee

A one-time application fee of OMR 32 is required.

Registration Fee

A non-refundable registration fee of OMR 53 is required to confirm placement.

Seat Reservation Fee

A seat reservation fee of OMR 212 is required to secure placement for the upcoming academic year.

This fee is deducted from annual tuition fees.

Tuition Fee Payment Schedule

Tuition fees are invoiced in three instalments, due at the start of each term. Payments should be completed within 30 days of the invoice date.

Book Fee

An annual book fee of OMR 265 covers required educational materials.

Fees may be prorated for mid-year admissions.

Additional Information

Annual tuition fees cover academic instruction and most co-curricular activities. They do not include optional services such as transportation, uniforms, or meals.
